Opening hours - 9 am - 6 pm (April - Sept) 9 am - 5 pm (Oct - March) A free permit must be obtained from the Reception centre which is 1.1km from the entrance,on the way there you will be treated to cascades of butterflies & dragonflies, brightly coloured beetles and the tantalising sounds of birds hidden from view.. S'Albufera de Mallorca fou declarada Parc natural el 28 de gener de 1988 (Decret 4/1988). És també Zona Humida d'Importància Internacional inclosa en el conveni de Ramsar i en la Xarxa natura 2000, com a Zona d'especial protecció per a les aus (ZEPA) i Lloc d'importància comunitària (LIC). S'Albufera és la zona humida més.. Sprawling over an area of 1,647 hectares, Parc Natural de s'Albufera de Mallorca is one of the best places to be familiar with a variety of bird species in Majorca. The park was declared a national park in the year 1988 and is also a special protection area for birds. A major part of the park consists of wet grassland and marsh.
