7 posts · Joined 2021. #1 · Aug 4, 2021. First post, looking for advice. I have a 2011 R56 Cooper Petrol (manual) The start/stop has never worked, which I know for some people is ideal. I'd like to know why it doesn't work and remove the crossed out Awarning every time you start. Its not the battery or the environmental conditions.. I have an automatic f57 convertible with auto stop start. When at traffic lights for example, the auto stop works however recently it has not started starting the engine and tells me to the put the car in park so it doesn't roll away. I have to put it in park, restart the engine and then put it into drive to be able to move!
